As school districts continue to evaluate the COVID-19 situation, there are still several unknowns. Parents have been given the option to select virtual learning for their children due to the impact COVID-19 is having on health and safety.

Virtual learning is delivered through a virtual schedule developed by elementary, middle, and high schools and class instruction is delivered by the school district teacher.

Basics:

Family & Youth Innovative Events Scholarships will provide financial assistance for qualifying families to help pay for their child to attend virtual learning and tutoring programs.

Scholarships are awarded to families who meet the income requirement and have a child or children enrolled in a Georgia public school system in grades kindergarten through grade 12.

Family & Youth Innovative Events Scholarships can be used at virtual learning support centers and tutoring centers.

The scholarship will be good for three months but may be extended.

Families may receive a Family & Youth Innovative Events scholarship for any eligible child.
